Special Issue Submission Guidelines

For Poetry Month submissions, our guidelines run separately from our regular (Spring and Fall) issues.

· Only Poetry and Art submissions. Fiction and Non-Fiction submissions will not be considered.

· Submit 3-5 poems. No more, no less. Maximum line count is 50. No minimum, but make the poem a good one.

· Include readable font (Times New Roman, Garamond, etc.), 12-point. Single-space or double-space is fine.

· All submitters must be aged 13+. Any writers whose pieces are accepted cannot submit again until our next submission period.

· All submissions must be previously unpublished. Work posted anywhere online or in print counts as published. Upon acceptance of your work, you give us the right to publish your work online and archive your work on the site. All rights return to the author upon publication.

· Your bio can be up to 150 words.

· We prefer that writers be currently homeschooled, former homeschoolers, homeschool graduates, homeschool parents, and pro-homeschoolers. Writing about homeschooling is not a requirement, but it is welcomed, appreciated, and encouraged.

· Submit to seshatlitmag (at) gmail (dot) com.

For our Summer Issue (and our occasional Winter Issue), our guidelines run differently from our regular submissions.

· Poetry cannot be more than 30 lines, maximum of 3 poems. Fiction and Non-Fiction cannot be more than 2000 words, maximum of 2 pieces. Submit up to 2 works of art (photography, painting, etc.). If you send more pieces than the maximum and/or run above this maximum line or word count, your work will not be considered.
